Vietnam Aviation Academy has just issued regulations on uniforms and conduct of students for the 2025-2026 school year.
Accordingly, the regulations require students to wear uniforms on Mondays and Fridays according to regulations. On the remaining days of the week, students must wear clothes of their choice that are polite and discreet, and wear shoes or sandals with back straps.

"Students wearing inappropriate or offensive clothing or behaving inappropriately will not be allowed on campus or in class," the regulations emphasize.
Vietnam Aviation Academy also strictly prohibits students from smoking on campus.
In addition, the academy requires students to wear student ID cards when entering and leaving the academy, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the school. Lecturers will not allow students to enter the classroom if they do not wear student ID cards, or if their clothing is offensive or does not comply with regulations.
The above regulation is effective from November 15.
Previously, some universities also issued specific regulations on student dress.
Hanoi Medical University stipulates that students are not allowed to wear shorts, skirts that expose the knees, low-rise pants, or ripped jeans; low-cut shirts, sleeveless shirts, or shirts that reach the waist; sandals without straps; or brightly colored hair. The above regulations apply not only to students during their time at school, but also to other activities outside, such as hospitals and practice facilities.
In addition, Hanoi Medical University also regulates uniforms in certain cases in laboratories, national defense education , participation in club activities, and uniforms when students participate in events organized by the school.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education also reiterated regulations on skirt length, requiring female students "not to wear skirts that are too short"; male students must tuck their shirts into their pants; wear shoes with straps at the back and wear student ID cards when coming to school.
Mr. Tran Thanh Thuong, Head of Admissions and Student Affairs Department, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, said that this is a long-standing regulation that is regularly reminded to build a civilized environment, standard and polite style in schools, and at the same time, ensure discipline and professional style for students.
