The 6th Asia International Economic Forum, held in Singapore, honored Hai Thuong Resort (Huong Son, Ha Tinh) as "Vietnam's Leading Eco-Cultural Tourism Destination 2023".
Mr. Tran Dinh Song - Director of Hai Thuong Ecotourism Area, received the award for "Leading Eco-Cultural Tourism Destination in Vietnam 2023".
The Asia International Economic Forum and the "Asia Award 2023" ceremony, themed " Strengthening Vietnam-Singapore Trade Cooperation for a Prosperous Asia," were held from October 5-8, 2023 in Singapore.
The event aimed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Singapore, while also looking forward to the founding of the APEC Economic Cooperation Forum. The forum was attended by representatives of the Vietnamese and Singaporean governments, along with leaders of international organizations operating in ASEAN, India, South Korea, Japan, and other countries.
Within the framework of the event, the organizers held the announcement and awarding ceremony for the 6th "Asia Award 2023". Accordingly, in the tourism category, Hai Thuong Ecotourism Area was honored as "Asia's Leading Eco-Cultural Tourism Destination 2023".

Besides Hai Thuong Eco-tourism Area, several other destinations nationwide were also honored, including: Sunworld Fansipan (Sapa town, Lao Cai), Mvillas Phu Quoc (Kien Giang), Thao Nguyen Hotel & Resort Moc Chau (Son La)...
Mr. Tran Dinh Song, Director of Hai Thuong Eco-tourism Area, said: "This award affirms the efforts of the resort as well as the authorities at all levels in building Hai Thuong Resort into an attractive destination. This is a motivation for us to strive even harder in promoting the cultural heritage values of famous figures and the locality associated with tourism."

The Hai Thuong eco-tourism area, located in Hai Thuong village, Son Trung commune (Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province), covers an area of 25 hectares and includes many recreational facilities and services such as: cafes, bars, karaoke, swimming pools, children's playgrounds, sports complexes, mineral mud baths, etc. Over the years, this has been a destination attracting thousands of tourists for sightseeing and relaxation. |
