According to Ha Tinh Petroleum Power Company - the operator of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant, the positive results were achieved thanks to close coordination between the enterprise, Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) and the National Power System Control Center (A0).
With the goal of always being ready to mobilize maximum capacity, the company has focused on completing maintenance work, technical standardization, ensuring operational safety and strictly implementing economic and technical norms approved by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation.
One of the important highlights this year is the proactive development of a plan to provide stable coal for the two units. In the context of the constantly fluctuating fuel market, proactively sourcing coal not only keeps the production line running continuously but also helps the factory optimize efficiency and minimize the risk of supply disruption.
At the same time, the company promotes the application of technology and improves management to improve operational quality, reduce emissions, and ensure environmental hygiene. Flexibility in bidding prices in the electricity market also helps increase profits and increase output during favorable load demand periods.
Accumulated in the first 11 months of 2025, Thermal Power Plant 1 connected to the national grid 5,383 million kWh, with revenue of about 10,447 billion VND.
Entering the last month of the year, Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant continues to set the goal of operating safely and effectively, meeting the maximum "commands" mobilized from the system. During the peak period at the end of the year, the stability of the plant is considered one of the important factors to help ensure national energy security and serve the production and business needs of the people and the business community.
