No longer as noisy and bustling as the summer days, Thien Cam beach when entering winter puts on a peaceful, quiet appearance but still brings very unique emotions. That difference becomes the reason why many tourists come here on cold windy days, to listen to the gentle sound of the waves, feel the typical cold of the sea and enjoy a slower pace of life.
During her trip to Ha Tinh , Ms. Pham Thi Suong (Kien Duc commune, Lam Dong province) shared: "Having the opportunity to return to Ha Tinh, even though it was winter, we still chose Thien Cam as a place to visit, to listen to the waves and feel the very pleasant atmosphere. The sea this season is beautiful in a different way, quieter but also very attractive."
After a rather quiet year when constantly facing extreme weather, many tourism service businesses in Thien Cam are looking forward to positive signals from the winter tourist season. The weather in the early days of winter is quite favorable when the temperature drops but the sky is dry, with little rain, creating conditions for tourists to have more options to experience.
Ms. To Thi Ai, owner of Ai Luan restaurant, said: “On weekends, the number of customers coming to eat at the store is quite good. Although it cannot be as good as in 2024, it is still a bit of a good sign for businesses in Thien Cam after a period of having to cope with difficulties due to storms and rains.”
Despite suffering a lot of damage from big storms, restaurants here have quickly repaired their facilities and prepared goods to be ready to serve tourists during the low season.
Mr. Truong Van Hieu, owner of Le Huyen restaurant, said: “This year, goods are somewhat scarcer, but the establishment has proactively adjusted the menu to suit the winter, mainly hot pot dishes and grilled seafood. The weather is also quite favorable, so we still welcome 7-8 trays on weekends. Hopefully, in the coming time, we will welcome more customers, especially during holidays and Tet.”
It is known that in the winter of 2024, Thien Cam beach welcomed a large number of tourists, a sign showing the increasingly clear attraction of this destination.
During the Lunar New Year alone, Thien Cam Tourist Area welcomed about 22,000 visitors; including nearly 400 visitors to Cam Son Pagoda and more than 5,000 overnight guests. This is an important foundation for Thien Cam to continue moving towards the goal of "undressing" tourism for one season, maximizing the advantage of the year-round sea, creating new value for Ha Tinh tourism.
According to Mr. Pham Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Thien Cam Commune People's Committee, the locality is determined to develop four-season sea tourism, especially in the context of increasingly favorable traffic infrastructure with the North-South expressway and in the future there will be an additional high-speed train route. However, there are still certain difficulties, especially in mobilizing resources and funding to overcome damage to infrastructure and environmental sanitation caused by natural disasters...
“In the immediate future, the commune will focus on improving its infrastructure, ensuring environmental hygiene, and improving service quality to welcome guests in the most thoughtful and dedicated manner. We aim to build the image of Thien Cam as an attractive destination in all four seasons,” Mr. Tuan emphasized.
With its rustic and peaceful beauty, Thien Cam beach is expected to receive more positive signals this winter, contributing to creating momentum for Ha Tinh tourism to develop more sustainably and diversely in the coming time.
