Ward and commune business associations - creating a cohesive environment, promoting production and business

In order for businesses to connect and accompany local development, on November 7, 2025, the People's Committee of Song Tri Ward issued Decision No. 1268/QD-UBND on allowing the establishment of the Ward Business Association. On December 7, the Ward Business Association held its first congress for the 2025-2030 term.

The 1st Congress of Song Tri Ward Business Association elected 36 comrades to the Executive Committee.

Mr. Le Quang Hoa - Chairman of Song Tri Ward Business Association said: "The establishment of the association will create a common representative organization for the business community in the area, linking the strength of businesses and business households, strengthening connections, support, sharing information and experiences in production and business activities. At the same time, it is an effective bridge between businesses and local authorities, helping to promptly grasp and reflect policy mechanisms, remove difficulties and obstacles, and create a favorable investment and business environment. This is an important foundation to promote the role and potential of the business community, promote economic development, and contribute to the development of the ward in the new period. In the 2025 - 2030 term, the association aims to contribute to the ward budget to increase by an average of 8 - 10% per year".

In Nghi Xuan commune, after the implementation of administrative unit arrangement, the Commune Business Association was also established according to the new model, marking a development step in gathering and connecting businesses. Thereby, contributing to building a united and strong business community, accompanying the local government in the cause of developing the homeland.

Nghi Xuan Commune Business Association was established in October 2025 and is also the first association in the province to establish a Party cell.

Mr. Dang Van Son - Chairman of Nghi Xuan Commune Business Association said: "The whole commune currently has more than 300 enterprises. Last October, Nghi Xuan Commune People's Committee directed the establishment of the association and organized the first congress. The association operates with the core task of building a common forum for businesses; at the same time, it is an official channel to reflect to the government the difficulties and obstacles in production and business".

Assessing the role of the Commune Business Association, Mr. Bui Viet Hung - Chairman of Nghi Xuan Commune People's Committee said: "In the context of implementing the new government model after the administrative unit arrangement, the establishment and consolidation of the commune-level business association is appropriate and practical. The establishment of the Commune Business Association has become an important bridge between the government and the business community, conveying information, wishes and proposals of businesses, thereby the government has timely solutions to support businesses in developing production and business in the spirit of Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo , contributing to the development of the local socio-economy. Although newly established, the Commune Business Association has had many active activities participating in social security work in the area and is the first business association in the whole province to establish a Party cell".

After the district level was dissolved and new communes and wards were established under the two-level local government model, the previous district-level business associations also ceased operations. Communes and wards in the province, especially those with a large number of enterprises, have proactively established business associations. To date, 39 wards and communes have established associations and held congresses, perfected the organization, set out directions, goals and activities for the new term.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Chairman of Thanh Sen Ward Business Association said: "After establishing the administrative unit according to the new model, the Ward Business Association was established and gathered 120 official members. The first Congress of the Ward Business Association has determined the goal in the next term to build a strong association organization, a bridge between the government and businesses, contributing to supporting businesses in developing production and business. In particular, during the term, the association will establish an association office and focus on supporting members in communicating and promoting businesses and recruiting personnel."

Thanh Sen Ward Business Association currently has 120 official members.

Mr. Le Duc Thang - Chairman of the Provincial Business Association said: "The establishment of business associations in communes and wards is necessary and suitable for the new management model. In the 2-level local government model, the grassroots are assigned more tasks, having an organization representing businesses in each ward and commune helps the information exchange process more effectively.

The establishment of business associations at the commune and ward levels not only creates an environment for connection and sharing among businesses, but also enhances the effectiveness of interaction between businesses and the government, helps to remove administrative procedures, provides legal support, creates a transparent and favorable investment environment, and is an "extended arm" to support associations in quickly grasping the needs, difficulties and recommendations of businesses.
