According to data from the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh , in the first 10 months of 2025, the export turnover of various types of textile fibers and yarns reached 11.57 million USD, an increase of 101.57% over the same period in 2024; textiles and garments reached 39.2 million USD, an increase of 69.33% over the same period.

This is an impressive result in the context of the global export market still having many fluctuations, showing the strong resilience of Ha Tinh enterprises in the global textile and garment supply chain.

Ha Tinh export enterprises have taken advantage of market expansion opportunities from FTAs.

In recent times, textile and fiber enterprises in the area have proactively invested in modern, automated production lines and promoted digital transformation in production and business. Thanks to that, products have achieved high consistency in quality and design, meeting the strict standards of major markets. At the same time, making the most of opportunities from new-generation free trade agreements (FTAs) has helped enterprises expand their markets and increase turnover.

According to a representative of Vinatex Hong Linh Joint Stock Company (Nam Hong Industrial Park): The business results of Vietnamese fiber enterprises are clearly recovering as cotton prices decrease and demand from China increases again. Vinatex Hong Linh is currently focusing on producing high-value product lines, promoting the application of digital technology in management and production, from automation to artificial intelligence (AI) to increase efficiency and labor value. By the end of October 2025, the enterprise produced more than 5,800 tons of various fibers, striving to reach 7,306 tons for the whole year, with revenue of about 495 billion VND, of which export turnover is about 8 million USD. Vinatex Hong Linh is currently maintaining major markets such as the US, Japan, EU and continuing to exploit new markets thanks to FTAs.

Many Ha Tinh textile and garment enterprises have gradually built their brands on e-commerce platforms, expanding their international customer base. Typical examples include: APPARELTECH Ha Tinh Export Garment Company Limited (Duc Tho Industrial Park), Haivina Hong Linh Company Limited (Nam Hong Industrial Park), Branch of Garment Corporation 10 - Garment Factory 10 Ha Tinh (Vung Ang Economic Zone), Export Garment Joint Stock Company (Bac Cam Xuyen Industrial Park)...

Ms. Vo Thi Tam - Chairman of the Trade Union of Haivina Hong Linh Company said: The enterprise currently has nearly 1,300 employees, specializing in sewing clothes, gloves, and sportswear. The world economy is gradually recovering, global consumer demand is growing, creating opportunities for garment enterprises with more abundant orders. Currently, we are speeding up the completion of orders signed long-term contracts with partners in the US, UK, France, Spain, China, Singapore, etc.

It is worth noting that, while previously, garment enterprises in the area mostly operated under the outsourcing model, Ha Tinh has now successfully attracted full-scale production projects, a direction that helps increase the value of products. A typical example is Gaiwach International Co., Limited (Hong Kong) at Cong Khanh 1 Industrial Park, specializing in sewing swimwear and lingerie under the autonomous model.

Ms. Le Thi Hien - Communications and Recruitment Officer (Gaiwach International Co., Limited) said: "With 3 sewing lines just put into operation, they have created high quality products, meeting the export requirements of "demanding" markets in Europe. When the entire factory with a scale of 2,000 workers is put into operation, the project will generate a large source of revenue and contribute significantly to the province's export turnover".

Mr. Vo Ta Nghia - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh informed: "Recently, the province has focused on attracting new investment in the textile and garment sector with many solutions implemented synchronously and effectively... Ha Tinh currently has 14 factories and projects in textiles and garments with a total investment capital of more than VND 2,822 billion, creating jobs for over 5,600 workers, contributing positively to the province's industrial production index.

The implementation of new generation FTAs such as EVFTA, CPTPP... has opened a "big door" for Vietnam's textile and garment exports. Demand has strongly recovered from major markets such as China, Korea, the US and the EU... due to the gradual stabilization of the global supply chain, the increase in textile and garment orders, and more stable cotton and raw material prices. Along with that, enterprises in the province are more proactive in production, technology and product quality, expanding the market and affirming their position on the international "export map".

Also according to Mr. Vo Ta Nghia, to support import-export enterprises, including the garment, fiber and textile sectors, the Department of Industry and Trade is advising the Provincial People's Committee to draft a Resolution of the Provincial People's Council stipulating a number of policies for trade and logistics development in the province for the period 2026-2030, and a Resolution promulgating a number of policies for industrial and handicraft development in the province for the period 2026-2030.

In the final "sprint" phase of the year, the production scale of import-export enterprises in the garment and textile sector is forecast to increase. The Department of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate to build a flexible trade promotion program, prioritizing markets with FTAs; analyze and periodically share market information, tariffs, and technical barriers, helping businesses proactively adjust production and business plans. The industry will also promote support for brand building and the application of e-commerce in product promotion and consumption, thereby enhancing the image and competitiveness of "Made in Ha Tinh" products in the international market...
