At around 9:00 p.m. on December 9, on the way back from a business trip to the mountainous commune of Ba Vi, when arriving at Ba To commune, the working group of the Criminal Techniques Department and the driver of the Logistics Department of Quang Ngai Provincial Police discovered a man riding a motorbike carrying a woman and a small child, continuously waving his hands for help.
Seeing signs of emergency, the working group quickly stopped the car to inquire and learned that the child, PTP (born in 2019, residing in Dong Vao village, Ba To commune), was severely burned by boiling water, the injured area stretched from the buttocks to the legs, many areas of skin had peeled off. The woman said she was P's mother, and was on the way with relatives to take P to the emergency medical facility.

Immediately, the working group put mother and child P in the car, urgently moved to the Infirmary of Division 307 (Military Region 5) for initial first aid, then continued to take the child to Quang Ngai General Hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors examined and determined that the child had second-degree burns.
According to P's mother, when P was burned, relatives helped take her and her child to the hospital at night, but because the road was dark, it was raining, and the vehicle was not reliable, it was extremely difficult to move. Luckily, on the way, they met the working group and received timely support.
The quick, responsible actions and dedication of the working group shortened the "golden time" in treating burns, contributing significantly to ensuring the child's life and safety.
