Another beneficial playground for people with disabilities.

On the morning of December 10th in Hanoi, the Vietnam Paralympic Committee (VPC) announced the ParaNatuh Pickleball series with the theme "Inclusive Sports". This event aims to honor the resilience of people with disabilities and spread the spirit of the Paralympic Games to the community.

The event announcing the ParaNatuh Pickleball series, themed “Inclusive Sport ,” was held on World Human Rights Day, emphasizing the core message: “Inclusion - Respect - Equality - For Humanity.”

With the message: "When people are determined and maintain an optimistic spirit, we can overcome all limitations," the goal of the ParaNatuh Pickleball race is to build the first Para Pickleball ecosystem in Vietnam, creating a national playground for people with disabilities with connections between the State - Businesses - International.

The official tournament is scheduled to take place on March 16, 2026, with 64 Para athletes and 64 Ambassadors participating, featuring an inclusive competition model for the first time in Vietnam: 1 Para athlete + 1 Ambassador.

The launch ceremony for the ParaNatuh Pickleball series, themed "Inclusive Sport," was held on World Human Rights Day, December 8th.

Mr. Tran Duc Tho, Secretary General of the Vietnam Disabled Sports Committee, affirmed: "The tournament is an important step in realizing the goal of integrating and connecting more than 7 million disabled people in Vietnam with the international sports movement. We want to prove that disabled people are exemplary role models for the community in terms of courage, determination, inspiration, and equality. And finally, sports are barrier-free, about respect, connection, and sharing. From there, discrimination and prejudice will be overcome."

At the event announcing the ParaNatuh Pickleball series with the theme "Inclusive Sports," representatives of the Vietnam Paralympic Committee also called on ministries, departments, media agencies, social organizations, KOLs - KOCs, and the disability community to join hands in spreading the message: "When people are determined and maintain an optimistic spirit, we can overcome all limitations."

Athletes compete not only to win, but also to remind us that: “The body may be flawed, but the will is not. Difficulties may be great, but perseverance is even greater. And happiness is not luck, but a choice made every day…”
