According to initial information, at approximately 1:15 PM on December 10th, a fire broke out in the Lo Duc street area (Hai Ba Trung ward, Hanoi ).

As soon as the fire was discovered, residents in the area shouted to each other and grabbed fire extinguishers to try to put it out, but without success as the flames grew increasingly fierce, and thick black smoke billowed dozens of meters high.
Within minutes, the fire had spread to several neighboring houses. Residents tried to evacuate their belongings to avoid damage while simultaneously contacting the authorities.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police dispatched 3 specialized fire trucks along with officers and soldiers to the scene to prevent the fire from spreading and to extinguish it.
After about 20 minutes, the fire was brought under control and did not spread further. The Fire and Rescue Police force continued to extinguish the remaining embers and spray water to cool the scene of the fire. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
