Accordingly, on the evening of December 9th, during a mobile patrol and control operation to ensure traffic safety on the Ho Chi Minh City-Trung Luong expressway, Traffic Police Team No. 5 of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 7 (Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) spotted an Anh Tuan brand sleeper bus signaling for help at Km27 (section belonging to Thu Thua commune, Tay Ninh province).

On the bus was Mr. Nguyen Van Liem (born in 1956, from An Giang province) in critical condition, having stopped breathing, foaming at the mouth, and exhausted… Recognizing that the passenger's life was in danger, the officers and soldiers in the task force calmly handled the situation, quickly administered initial first aid, and simultaneously reported to their commander and used a specialized vehicle to transport the patient and his family to Tan An General Hospital for emergency treatment.

Within a short time, the task force managed to get the patient to the emergency room. The emergency team at the hospital reported that the patient was at risk of acute heart failure or myocardial infarction, and any delay could have been life-threatening. Thanks to the quick, timely, and professionally administered first aid by the task force, the patient could still be saved upon arrival at the hospital.

On December 10th, according to information from the hospital and his family, Mr. Liem was out of critical condition and continued to be monitored with dedicated care from doctors and nurses. Mr. Liem's family was deeply moved and expressed their sincere gratitude to the traffic police team.
