22nd session, 11th Provincial People's Council: Will consider regulations on tuition support levels for the 2023-2024 school year and tuition collection levels from the 2024 school year

BTO-This afternoon (May 10), the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council held a press conference to inform about the content and agenda of the 22nd session (special session) of the 11th Provincial People's Council. Attending the press conference were leaders and reporters from local press agencies and the provincial press.

At the press conference, Mr. Huynh Van Hung - Deputy Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council decided to convene the 22nd session (special session) on the morning of May 15, 2024 at Hall B - Provincial Conference Center to decide on matters under its authority.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Council will consider and decide on resolutions on Approving the adjustment of the investment policy for the project of DT.719 bypass and the bridge over Dinh River, La Gi town; Approving the investment policy for the project of Upgrading and expanding DT.717 route; Approving the investment policy for the project of Anti-erosion embankment, protecting the northern coast of Phu Quy island.

The Provincial People's Council also considered and decided on Resolutions regulating tuition support levels for the 2023-2024 school year and tuition collection levels from the 2024-2025 school year for public preschool, general education, and continuing education institutions that have not yet self-financed regular expenditures in the province; Assigning tasks to the Provincial People's Committee to implement according to Point b, Clause 3, Article 5 of Circular No. 76/2023/TT-BTC dated December 29, 2023 of the Ministry of Finance ; Adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 from the provincial budget; Allocating in detail the 2024 public investment plan from the provincial budget (retained resources for later allocation).

Also at this session, the Provincial People's Council will consider the decision on Approval of adjustment of investment policy for the Provincial Funeral Home project; Allocation of development investment capital from the central budget (foreign capital) to implement the Investment Program for developing the grassroots health network in disadvantaged areas in implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in 2024 in Binh Thuan province; Regulations on the level of support for health insurance contributions from the local budget for ethnic minorities in the province.

After being provided with additional information related to the meeting, the participating press agencies all agreed on the contents.
