The Dak Ken Border Guard Station was established on October 27, 2004, stationed in Dak Wil commune, managing and protecting a border section more than 10 km long.

Over the past 20 years, generations of officers and soldiers at the border post have always been united, playing a pivotal role in maintaining border security and order.

Throughout its 20 years of construction and development, the Dak Ken Border Guard Station has continuously upheld its traditions, overcome difficulties, and excellently fulfilled its nhiệm vụ of firmly protecting national sovereignty and border security.

The unit closely coordinates with local Party committees and authorities in developing the socio -economic conditions of border areas, supporting people in poverty alleviation, and building an increasingly strong all-people border defense posture.

The Dak Ken Border Guard Station has effectively combated subversive activities from hostile forces; preventing and fighting various types of crime. The unit maintains a combat-ready force, ensuring personnel and equipment are available to respond promptly to natural disasters and carry out search and rescue operations.

With the achievements made over the past 20 years, the officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Post have received 3 commendations from the Minister of National Defense, 3 commendations from the Border Guard Command, 1 commendation from the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee, and 1 commendation from the Provincial People's Committee. From 2019-2023, the unit achieved the "Unit of Victory" title for 5 consecutive years...

Speaking at the commemoration ceremony, Colonel Bui Duc Chinh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Dak Nong Provincial Border Guard Command, requested that officers and soldiers of the Dak Ken Border Guard Station continue to uphold their role as a specialized force in building a peaceful, friendly, stable, cooperative, and developing national border.

The unit has done a good job advising the local Party committee and government, effectively implementing Directive No. 01/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on "Organizing the movement of all people to participate in protecting national territorial sovereignty and border security in the new situation". The station has promoted practical and effective work in helping people develop the economy, alleviate poverty, and build new rural areas in Dak Wil commune.
