BaoViet Bank interest rates updated from January 20, deposit 1 billion VND and receive large interest

From January 20, the highest interest rate for savings and term deposits at Bao Viet Bank will be 5.8%/year, applied for terms from 15-36 months.

Meanwhile, at the 12-13 month term, the savings interest rate is 0.3 percentage points lower, listed at 5.5%/year.

Term 9-11 months, savings interest rate is 5.1%/year.

At BaoVietBank, 3-month term deposits are enjoying an interest rate of 4.05%/year, while 4-5-month term deposits are enjoying an interest rate of only 3.9%/year.

This is the second time this bank has adjusted interest rates down in 2024.

According to this bank's calculation tool, if people deposit 1 billion VND with a term of 24 months (interest rate of 5.8%) with the form of receiving interest at the end of the term, people will receive an interest of 114.4 million VND.

If you deposit for a 36-month term, the interest received at the end of the term is nearly 172 million VND.

If you deposit for a 12-month term and receive interest at the end of the term, the interest you receive is more than 54 million VND.
