Up to this point, 11 banks have increased deposit interest rates since the beginning of September, including: Dong A Bank, OceanBank, VietBank, GPBank, Agribank, Bac A Bank, NCB, OCB, BVBank,ACB and PGBank.

On the contrary, ABBank is the first bank to reduce deposit interest rates this month by 0.1-0.4%/year, for terms of 1-12 months.

According to a survey of commercial banks' interest rates for 12-month deposits, the highest bank interest rate for this term is 5.8%/year, listed at BaoViet Bank, BVBank, Dong A Bank, NCB and Saigonbank.

Meanwhile, GPBank listed its 12-month savings interest rate at 5.75% per year. Bac A Bank and CBBank are also in the group of banks with the highest 12-month deposit interest rates at 5.7% per year.

Banks listed interest rates of 5.6%/year for 12-month deposits include OceanBank, KienLongBank, Nam A Bank and VietBank.

Meanwhile, HDBank, PGBank,SHB and VPBank announced the deposit interest rate for this term is 5.5%/year.

3 banks MSB, Sacombank and Viet A Bank are listing interest rates of 5.4%/year for 12-month savings deposits.

Eximbank, OCB and TPBank maintain interest rates of 5.2%/year for this term.

The group of banks LPBank, MB and PVCombank announced the 12-month term bank interest rate at 5.1%/year.

The remaining banks listed 12-month deposit interest rates at less than 5%/year.

Specifically, Techcombank listed an interest rate of 4.95%/year for deposit accounts under 1 billion VND (interest rate for deposit accounts from 1 billion VND to under 3 billion VND is 5%/year, from 3 billion VND or more is 5.05%/year).

ACB Bank also only pays 4.9% interest per year for 12-month term deposits, amount under 200 million VND. Deposits from 200 million VND to under 1 billion VND, interest rate is 5% and deposits from 1 billion VND to under 5 billion VND, interest rate is 5.05% per year. From 5 billion VND or more, ACB pays the highest mobilization interest rate of 5.1% per year for 12-month term.

The big 4 groups such as Agribank, BIDV and VietinBank all listed 12-month savings interest rates at 4.7%/year, while Vietcombank is still maintaining an interest rate of 4.6%/year.

SeABank only listed an interest rate of 4.5%/year, while SCB is the bank that listed the lowest 12-month term interest rate at present, only 3.7%/year.
