On the morning of December 4, the People's Committee of Ham Thang Ward ( Lam Dong Province) evacuated about 1,500 households in dangerous flooded areas to ensure safety in natural disaster prevention and control and search and rescue in the area.

In the morning, the Ward Civil Defense Command coordinated with functional forces to evacuate households in areas at risk of deep flooding to safe gathering places and relatives' houses outside the danger zone.

Accordingly, households in Kim Binh neighborhood will be relocated to Ham Thang Secondary School; Kim Ngoc neighborhood to Kim Ngoc Church; Ung Chiem and Thang Hoa neighborhoods to Ham Thang 3 Primary School; Phu Thanh and Phu Hoa neighborhoods to Hoa Thanh Primary School, Phu Hoa Neighborhood Cultural House; Phu Thinh neighborhood to An Thinh Primary School; Phu Xuan and Phu My neighborhoods to Xuan My Primary School.

In addition, the Ward Chief coordinated and proposed to relocate people to solid high-rise buildings in the area.

Authorities went to each house to transport people out of the flooded area.

In addition, the ward police arranged forces to coordinate with neighborhoods to evacuate and protect people's property ; organize traffic flow, guide traffic, and strictly control vehicles participating in traffic on flooded roads.

The Ward Military Command arranged forces to participate in the rescue, provided life jackets and necessary items during the evacuation process; coordinated with neighborhoods to review and update key residential areas that needed to be evacuated.

The Department of Culture and Society ensures logistics to serve people at temporary shelters; regularly and continuously informs about the flood situation in the area on radio.

Forces transport people's agricultural products out of flooded areas.

The Ward Health Center prepares medicine for people in case of emergency. Schools coordinate with the authorities to clear the ground to serve as evacuation points for people to take temporary shelter during floods.

Also in the morning, the Defense Command of Region 5 - Phan Thiet (under the Military Command of Lam Dong province) evacuated many households in Hoi Nhon, Ham Liem commune (Lam Dong province) which were deeply flooded and had local traffic cut off.
