Over the past 10 years, the VNQC Team of Dai Thang block, Luong Van Tri ward has participated in hundreds of quality art performances to serve the people in the area on holidays and New Year's... Ms. Le Thi Thanh, Captain of the VNQC Team of Dai Thang block, said: The team was established in 2010 with nearly 20 members, always ready to serve the activities of the block and ward. We regularly perform traditional art forms such as Then singing, Tinh lute and other folk songs and dances. With a passion for art, members often practice in the evening when there is a program of the block or ward asking them to participate. Thanks to that, over the past time, the VNQC team of the block has grown more and more, especially at the end of 2023, the block established a folk song and dance club, the club and the art team have won many high prizes when participating in local art festivals.
Currently, the VNQC movement in Luong Van Tri ward is developing strongly and enthusiastically, all 19 residential areas in the ward have established VNQC clubs and teams. The "homegrown" art performances have become an indispensable spiritual food in people's lives, satisfying their passion, initially meeting the enjoyment needs of the community.
Not only in Luong Van Tri ward, the VNQC movement is spreading strongly in communes and wards in the province. Currently, over 90% of the blocks and villages in the province have VNQC clubs operating in various forms: singing, dancing, music, folk singing... regularly. On average, each club, group, and team has from 15 to 30 members. Many VNQC clubs and teams operate actively and effectively, serving the political , cultural, and tourism tasks of the locality.
In the period of 2021 - 2025, the province has invested in building 307 new village cultural houses; renovating and repairing 350 village cultural houses; investing in 691 new sets of equipment to serve cultural house activities with a total implementation cost of over 160 billion VND (of which nearly 59 billion VND was contributed by the people). |
Ms. Ha Thi Lu, Director of the Provincial Cultural Center, said: Currently, the center has about 50 affiliated clubs and VNQC groups. Every year, the center organizes from 10 to 20 training courses for members of the cultural and artistic clubs affiliated to the center and members of VNQC clubs at the grassroots level with contents such as: skills in staging music and dance programs; basic dance; composition and performance skills... In particular, to improve the quality of activities of the affiliated clubs, we regularly pay attention to and orient the content, ensuring two-way information connection between the club management board and the center's functional departments.
In order to organize cultural movements well and meet the increasing cultural enjoyment needs of the people, authorities at all levels have continuously created the most favorable conditions for mass art troupes to operate regularly and effectively, from supporting props, loudspeakers, costumes, etc. to investing in the construction of cultural institutions. In the period of 2021 - 2025, the province has invested in building 307 new village cultural houses; renovating and repairing 350 village cultural houses; investing in 691 new sets of equipment for cultural house activities with a total implementation cost of over 160 billion VND (of which nearly 59 billion VND was contributed by the people). Notably, from the beginning of 2025 up to now, the Provincial Cultural Center has organized 10 VNQC clubs following the model of ethnic folk cultural activities in a number of communes in the province. Accordingly, before being established, the clubs were taught knowledge, practiced performing some types of folk cultural activities and were invested in costumes and tools for activities and performances with a total support cost of nearly 1 billion VND.
In parallel, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DTC) also organizes many activities to promote the development of VNQC activities. Specifically, it organizes mass art festivals and provincial folk song festivals every two years, folk song, dance, street art festivals; cultural, sports and tourism weeks... held in early spring every year. Specialized departments also support and facilitate the organization of art exchanges and competitions at the grassroots and units for VNQC clubs and teams in the province.
Along with that, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes many useful "playgrounds" to promote mass cultural activities: mass cultural festivals and provincial folk song festivals every two years, folk song, dance, street art festivals; cultural, sports and tourism weeks... held in early spring every year.
It is expected that in early November 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize a mass art performance of Workers - Farmers - Soldiers of Lang Son province at the provincial level, including armed forces, departments, branches, business units; some central communes and wards in the province. Thereby, creating solidarity, cohesion and mutual understanding in the community.
In the coming time, the model of VNQC clubs and teams will continue to be replicated, thereby contributing to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of the locality, meeting the needs of creativity, cultural enjoyment, and improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people.
