With the shrewdness of the local government and the dedication of many wealthy fishermen, Phuoc Tinh has been dubbed the "village of millionaires." Many fishermen in this fishing village own pairs of boats worth tens of billions of dong. With the current wave of strong investment, Phuoc Tinh is no longer simply the richest fishing village in Vietnam, but is becoming a thriving tourist and resort area in the near future.
