
Attending the preparatory session were: Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Van Nghiem; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Doan Thi Hau; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Tien Thieu; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Canh Toan; representatives of the Central Party Committees and 398 delegates, representing more than 71,000 party members of 69 Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee.

At the preparatory session, the Congress elected the Presidium, the Congress Secretariat, and the Congress Delegate Qualification Examination Board. Accordingly, the Congress unanimously elected the Presidium of 15 comrades; the Secretariat of 2 comrades; and the Congress Delegate Qualification Examination Board of 5 comrades. At the same time, unanimously approved the Congress program, rules, and regulations; disseminated the Party's election regulations; divided into discussion groups; and guided the activities of the Congress delegates.

Also at the preparatory session, the Congress approved the Report synthesizing comments on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; the Report synthesizing comments on the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 18th Provincial Party Congress.

Speaking at the preparatory session, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Van Nghiem affirmed: After an active and urgent working session, with a high sense of responsibility, the Congress preparatory session completed the contents of the proposed working program. The Provincial Party Secretary also requested the delegates to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the program, rules and regulations of the Congress, and perform well the tasks of delegates to contribute to the success of the Congress.

The 18th Congress of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 took place from September 24-26 with the theme "Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the strength of solidarity; mobilizing all resources, realizing development aspirations; building Lang Son into a growth pole of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region".
The Congress has the task of comprehensively assessing the implementation results of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025; determining the vision, goals, directions, tasks and main solutions for the term 2025 - 2030; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; electing the 18th Provincial Party Executive Committee and electing the Provincial Delegation to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Tomorrow morning, September 25, the Lang Son Provincial Party Congress will hold its official session.

+ Same afternoon On September 24, before the preparatory meeting, the delegation attending the 18th Lang Son Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, led by Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Van Nghiem, offered incense and flowers at the Memorial Site of President Ho Chi Minh and the Monument of Comrade Hoang Van Thu.


Before the heroic spirit of President Ho Chi Minh and comrade Hoang Van Thu, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Lang Son vow to unite, join hands, uphold the spirit of responsibility, and be determined to successfully implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, to build Lang Son province to become increasingly developed, rich, beautiful, and civilized, and together with the whole country, firmly step into a new era - the era of national growth.
