Fascinated by the billion-dollar orange garden in Kien Lao (Bac Ninh)

BAC NINH - Orange and grapefruit growing areas in Bac Ninh province are entering the harvest season. These days, many gardeners attract many tourists to visit, enjoy the sweet fruits and experience fruit picking. Among them, the orange garden of Mrs. Vu Thi Tan's family, Bang Cong village, Kien Lao commune stands out.

The orange garden of Mrs. Vu Thi Tan's family has an area of ​​over 4 hectares. The garden is located in a prime location, adjacent to Bau Tien Eco- tourism Area, creating a unique space that attracts visitors to visit and enjoy the sweet fruits in the garden.

This year, the orange yield is about 100 tons, revenue from fruit sales and tourism activities is estimated at about 2.8 - 3 billion VND. Thanks to intensive farming techniques, the orange garden is full of fruit, when ripe the fruit is golden yellow, thin-skinned, juicy, and sweet.

Mrs. Tan shared that to have healthy and fruitful trees, her family completely applies care techniques according to VietGAP standards and uses organic fertilizers.

Since the beginning of November, the garden has opened its doors to welcome visitors to come and experience the garden with a fee of 30,000 VND/time (adults), free entrance for children.

Ms. Dinh Thu Trang (right), a tourist from Hanoi, shared the wonderful feeling when she and her friends traveled a short distance (about 100 km) here on the weekend to enjoy the beautiful landscape and experience fruit picking.

The orchard of ripe fruit fascinates tourists.

On average, every day, the orange garden attracts 150 - 200 visitors from provinces and cities: Hanoi, Hai Phong , Hung Yen... to visit, creating more jobs and income for local people.
