Consulting people on awarding the Ho Chi Minh Medal to General Department 2

The Ministry of National Defense is seeking opinions from the people and officers and soldiers on awarding the Ho Chi Minh Medal to General Department 2 and Military Region 1 from April 4 to 17.

On April 4th, the Ministry of National Defense publicly posted a list of 59 collectives and 5 individuals nominated for the Ho Chi Minh Order, Military Merit Order, National Defense Order, and Labor Order of various classes to solicit opinions from the people and officers and soldiers.

Specifically, the General Department 2 and Military Region 1 have been nominated for the Ho Chi Minh Order. The Ministry of National Defense announced that the period for collecting opinions from the public and officers and soldiers will run from today until April 17th. Opinions should be sent to the Ministry of National Defense's electronic information portal via email: info@mod.gov.vn.

In addition to the two units mentioned above, the Ministry of National Defense also sought opinions on 57 other collectives and 5 individuals, including: the Da Nang City Military Command and Military Region 5, which were proposed for the First Class Military Merit Order; the Institute of Military Science and Technology (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army), which was proposed for the Second Class Military Merit Order; and the Ho Chi Minh City Command and Military Region 7, which were proposed for the Third Class Military Merit Order.

The following units are recommended for the First Class Order of National Defense: Military Region 3, Air Defense - Air Force Command, Department of Military Personnel (General Staff), Political Department (Organization, Government Cipher Committee), Office of the Ministry of National Defense, Office of the General Staff, Phu Tho Provincial Military Command, Nghe An Provincial Military Command, Ninh Thuan Provincial Military Command, Region 5 (Navy), Military Hospital 105 (General Department of Logistics - Technical); and Workshop 340 (General Staff, Military Region 5).

In addition, 14 collectives and 1 individual were nominated for the Second Class Order of National Defense; 21 collectives and 3 individuals were nominated for the Third Class Order of National Defense; 3 collectives were nominated for the First Class Labor Order; 4 collectives were nominated for the Second Class Labor Order; and 1 individual was nominated for the Third Class Labor Order.
