The festival also aims to encourage cooperatives, cooperative groups, and households to participate in connecting and introducing local agricultural products, especially A Rieu chili peppers, a product of the Dong Giang mountains and forests. It connects supply and demand, fosters cooperation and linkages, creates opportunities for exchange of experiences in production, and facilitates access to information and new technologies in agriculture .

Cultural activities at the festival include: an exhibition of agricultural products and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products; a food display; a presentation competition promoting and introducing traditional dishes and A Riêu chili products; and a drum and gong dance competition accompanied by a sacred fire.
Next to it, a procession of artisans, actors, and athletes from the communes, towns, and the Dong Giang Heaven's Gate Eco-tourism Area will parade and carry the sacred object (A Rieu chili pepper) from the main gate to the Silver River Square area (located within the tourist area).

In addition, Dong Giang district also organizes sports activities and folk games at the festival such as the "Conquering the Heaven's Gate Peak" mountain climbing race, swimming, slingshot shooting, and a competition to eat A Rieu chili peppers along with Quang noodles.
