On the afternoon of July 17, the launching ceremony of the Spring Homeland 2025 event series in Japan took place in Hanoi . The Consulate General of Vietnam in Fukuoka, Japan coordinated with the Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka, the Vietnamese Association in Saitama, Japan, GAG Japanese Language Academy, Vietnamese cultural channel VTC10 and Sunshine Joint Stock Company.
Attending the event were Consul General of Vietnam in Fukuoka (Japan) Vu Chi Mai, Vice Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs ) Nguyen Manh Dong, Vice Chairman of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Japan and Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka Nguyen Duy Anh, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Saitama, Japan Pham Dinh Thuong... and delegates from many fields of art, business, community organizations in Vietnam and Japan.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Consul General of Vietnam in Fukuoka (Japan) Vu Chi Mai said that Xuan Que Huong has long become "an indispensable spiritual food" every time Tet comes, and is the largest annual program of the State for overseas Vietnamese ( Ministry of Foreign Affairs ) for the community of more than 6 million Vietnamese people living, studying and working in more than 130 countries and territories.
In recent years, the Vietnamese community in Fukuoka (Japan) has successfully organized many large-scale programs such as: Miss Vietnam - Japan Friendship; Ao Dai Fashion Week in Fukuoka and set 2 global Vietnamese records: The event of forming a map of Vietnam with the largest number of overseas Vietnamese and foreigners wearing Ao Dai; The festival of overseas Vietnamese with the most diverse series of activities connecting the overseas Vietnamese community and welcoming the traditional New Year...

The Homeland Spring Festival is highly appreciated by the government, people and foreign community in Japan and is also the Lunar New Year event held with the largest scale and number of participants in Japan and many places around the world.
In 2025, there will be many key activities to celebrate the country's major holidays. Following the successes, the Consulate General of Vietnam and the Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka will organize a series of events called Spring Homeland 2025 in Japan.
The organizers hope that through this event, they will promote the image of the country and Vietnamese people integrating into the world, building the image of the Vietnamese community as united and developing in Japan in particular and the world in general. The series of events is a meaningful traditional Tet gift for Vietnamese people living abroad.

At the event, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Nguyen Manh Dong highly appreciated the activities organized by the Vietnamese Consulate General in Fukuoka on a large scale, very methodical, diverse in form, and rich in content.
The Vietnamese community in Japan participating in the 2025 Homeland Spring Festival is also the creator and beneficiary of spiritual values. Each individual will be a cultural ambassador and a bridge of friendship between Vietnam and Japan.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Dong believes that the Homeland Spring 2025 program will continue to attract a large number of Vietnamese communities in Japan and international friends to participate. This will be a series of activities promoting the beauty of Vietnamese women, traditional cultural values of Vietnam, a country that loves peace, harmony and friendliness.

The “Hometown Spring 2025 in Japan” festival is scheduled to start from January 4-5, 2025 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan and end in Fukuoka from January 10-12, 2025.
Within the framework of the festival, there are booths introducing handicraft products, consumer goods, promoting Vietnamese tourism and culture; impressive performances by popular Vietnamese artists, singers and actors.
Entering a new phase, Xuan Que Huong 2025 in Japan is ready with the mission of spreading good values. The series of Xuan Que Huong events is not only a traditional national New Year, but also an opportunity to connect the Vietnamese community around the world.
