Following a temporary suspension of in-person classes due to heavy rain and flooding, several universities in Thai Nguyen province have announced the schedule for students to return to in-person classes.
At the University of Agriculture and Forestry (Thai Nguyen University), on the morning of September 11th, the units promptly addressed the consequences of the floods and stabilized the school environment. Therefore, training activities will return to normal from September 12th.
Similarly, the University of Science, University of Economics and Business Administration (Thai Nguyen University) announced that students will return to normal studies from September 12th.
Schools are notifying students in areas severely affected by floods and who are unable to travel to school due to unforeseen circumstances that they may arrive later once transportation is safe. These students should immediately inform their homeroom teacher for advice and support.
The University of Education (Thai Nguyen University) has once again given its staff, lecturers, and students time off on September 12th and 13th. Make-up classes will be arranged later. The University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Thai Nguyen University) has given all students and trainees time off from theoretical and practical classes, and has canceled exams scheduled from September 10th to September 15th.
In the Hanoi area, Hanoi University of Science and Technology has just announced that new students will return to in-person classes from September 12th according to the timetable.
For students from cohort K68 and earlier, and those specializing in engineering, theoretical classes and exercises will continue to be conducted online until September 21st.
However, laboratory, practical, and national defense and security education classes will continue to be held in person according to the timetable. Physical education classes will be held in person starting September 16th. In cases where students are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, make-up classes will be arranged later.
For part-time students, online classes will continue until September 21st. For postgraduate students, depending on the situation, instructors may decide to implement online or offline classes.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, many other universities continue to shift from in-person to online learning to ensure safety or mitigate damage caused by Typhoon No. 3.
The Banking Academy will implement online teaching for all course modules at the Banking Academy headquarters and the Bac Ninh branch from September 11th to 13th. Course modules scheduled for September 14th will be cancelled, and make-up classes will be scheduled for students during the reserve week.
Hanoi University of Business and Technology will allow students to study online from the afternoon of September 11th until further notice.
Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment also organized online classes from September 12th to September 22nd. Hanoi University of Industry allowed students to study online until the end of this week for theoretical classes. Practical classes/sessiones were organized with in-person teaching or in a suitable format depending on the specifics of the course, or the learning time was adjusted according to actual conditions.
Hanoi Metropolitan University also announced that classes will be held online from September 11 to 15.
