On the evening of October 28, the People's Committee of Phan Son commune, Lam Dong province mobilized police and military forces to coordinate with construction units to overcome the landslide on National Highway 28B.
The landslide occurred in Doc Da village. At that time, heavy rain caused a mass of rock and soil from the mountain to slide down onto the road under construction, blocking both directions.
After nearly an hour of emergency, the landslide was basically fixed and traffic was flowing again in both directions.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the next few days, the above area will continue to experience heavy rain, and the risk of landslides will continue to be complicated.
Local authorities advise drivers to be vigilant to ensure safety.
Earlier on the afternoon of October 27, National Highway 28B passing through Dai Ninh Pass also suffered a landslide due to heavy rain. Construction units completed the repair during the night.
