Accordingly, at around 12:15 p.m. the same day, Lao Bao International Border Gate Border Guard Station coordinated with relevant agencies to patrol and combat drug crimes and illegal exit and entry in the area.

When arriving at the dirt road down to the Se Pon River bank (in Bich La Dong village, Tan Thanh commune), they discovered Ho Van Long driving a motorbike with license plate number 74H1-291.57 carrying Ho Van Tho (both 23 years old, residing in Block 6, Khe Sanh town, Huong Hoa district) with suspicious signs, so they organized forces to check.

Here, the patrol force discovered on Ho Van Tho two blue plastic bags containing 400 tablets suspected to be synthetic drugs.

Initially, Tho and Long confessed that they took advantage of the heavy rain to cross the border into Laos to buy 400 pink synthetic drug pills to bring back to Vietnam for use.

Currently, Lao Bao International Border Guard Station has temporarily detained 2 subjects and related objects and documents to continue investigating and handling according to legal regulations.
