AFC Pro Certified Coaching Course - AFC's highest certification for professional coaches qualified to lead national teams - organized by VFF and AFC.

Phase 1 of this course is expected to take place from July 11 to 31 in Hanoi . The course lasts for 2 years, divided into many different phases. VFF is still accepting registrations until April 15.

However, up to now, VFF has received nearly 30 registrations, with many famous names in Vietnamese football. It is known that Mr. Giom is still teaching at Nutifood Academy, which has produced many talented players such as striker "king of youth tournaments" Nguyen Quoc Viet or midfielder Nguyen Duc Viet who has just joined the Vietnam U.23 team to prepare for the U.23 Asian tournament.

As mentioned above, AFC and VFF will still open the door for coaches with A licenses to register for the Pro Coaching course phase 1. It is known that VFF is still waiting for AFC to arrange quality lecturers for the class full of famous names of Vietnamese football.

It should also be added that not all applicants will be able to attend, but AFC will organize an entrance exam, from which the 18 names with the best scores will be selected to attend, but currently the competition is very fierce: it is expected that nearly half (at least 11 names) will be eliminated and have to wait for another round.

It is known that up to now, Vietnamese football has had more than 20 coaches with a Pro certificate - the highest certificate of AFC - qualified to lead the Vietnamese team, which is leaving the "captain" seat vacant after the departure of coach Philippe Troussier.

In 2023, Vietnam will have 11 more coaches with AFC Pro certificates: Hua Hien Vinh, Chu Dinh Nghiem, Le Duc Tuan, Nguyen Anh Duc, Vu Nhu Thanh, Nguyen Xuan Hieu, Dao Quang Hung, Nguyen Cong Manh, Le Quang Trai, Le Bat Hieu... Previously, Vietnam also had a group of 11 AFC Pro coaches: Phan Thanh Hung, Nguyen Duc Thang, Lu Dinh Tuan, Phan Ba ​​Hung, Hoang Van Phuc, Hoang Anh Tuan, Le Huynh Duc, Nguyen Huu Thang, Nguyen Quoc Tuan, Pham Nhu Thuan and Nguyen Minh Phuong.
