The news that My Tam will be the guest performer at Phan Manh Quynh's 10th anniversary live concert has received much attention from the audience.

Having been active in the music industry for over 10 years, Phan Mạnh Quỳnh has only now confidently released an album titled "Cinelove." This album portrays romantic, nostalgic individuals who silently experience many unfulfilled moments in love. The album features gentle, profound melodies, with each song bearing Phan Mạnh Quỳnh's unique style.

Phan Mạnh Quỳnh shared: “It wasn't until now that I finished my first official album because I wanted it to have a common concept instead of randomly compiling songs with different themes and genres.”

There are songs that, even though they're 10 years old, still evoke the same emotions as the first time, so I decided to include them in the album to fully tell the love story.

Recording most of the songs on the album with an orchestra was an investment that I found very satisfying, because the authenticity of the instruments when the artists play together greatly enhances the emotion in the arrangement.”

Alongside the album, Phan Mạnh Quỳnh announced the organization of his first live concert in his career, titled "The Train Journey."

According to the artist, the image of the train serves as a vehicle to transport the artist and the audience through different emotional realms – past and present, day and night, rain and sunshine… At the same time, the image of a train also creates a sense of nostalgia and a high cinematic quality, which is very suitable for Phan Manh Quynh to convey his musical stories.

Notably, the guest performers at the live concert in Ho Chi Minh City will be Bui Cong Nam and My Tam. Both are close colleagues of Phan Manh Quynh throughout his career.

Speaking about inviting My Tam as a guest performer, Phan Manh Quynh admitted that he immediately thought of her when he had the idea for a live concert. "Besides being a colleague, My Tam considers me a close friend. She's invited me to her home many times for meals and pleasant conversations. So the first person I thought of was asking for her opinion. I felt like she had been ready for this for a long time. When I extended the invitation, she simply said: 'I will definitely support you.' I feel very grateful for this sentiment," he said.

Regarding the issue of fee for inviting My Tam, Phan Manh Quynh said that it hasn't been discussed yet. For him, getting the senior artist's agreement is already a stroke of luck, so he doesn't place too much importance on this matter.

The male singer said he had been dreaming of holding a live concert for six years after attending a concert by singer Ha Anh Tuan. However, it was only in the last few years that he felt confident enough to hold a live concert thanks to the support of music lovers.

"The memorable milestones in music and the songs that left a lasting impression on the audience have motivated me even more. I've also had the opportunity to experience and hone my skills through music nights, performing in tea rooms, and interacting with talented people in this field, which has given me more inspiration," he confided.

To prepare for the live concert, Phan Mạnh Quỳnh has not accepted any performance bookings for the past month. The male artist spends about 4 hours each day practicing his singing and also maintains a regular gym routine to improve his physical fitness. At the same time, Phan Mạnh Quỳnh is also in the process of creating new arrangements, reminiscing about his artistic journey to select each song to perform, building a comprehensive and emotionally rich musical picture for the live concert.

The live concert "Train: Winter" will take place on January 4, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City with two special guests, My Tam and Bui Cong Nam. Following that, he will hold another concert, "Train: Spring," on March 22, 2025 in Hanoi .
