World Expo 2025 is a large-scale global exhibition held every five years, bringing together 161 countries and 9 international organizations. This year's event takes place from April 13th to October 13th on Yumeshima Island, Osaka, Japan, with the overarching theme "Designing the Future Society for Our Lives." Meanwhile, Vietnam participates with the theme "Inclusive Society with People at its Center," reflecting the spirit of integration and sustainable development.

Within the framework of EXPO 2025 Osaka, the special event of Vietnam National Day featured seven artistic programs, with two programs serving diplomatic activities and five programs for overseas Vietnamese, Japanese citizens, and international visitors attending the event.

Notably, the program featured a fashion show showcasing traditional costumes and fashion by the artists. Miss Thanh Thuy made a striking appearance in an ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) printed with the red flag and yellow star, creating moments rich in cultural identity and introducing the beauty of Vietnamese culture to friends from around the world.

Miss International 2024 Thanh Thủy participated in the traditional costume parade, making a strong impression on a large number of international tourists. Here, the Vietnamese beauty recreated the image of Princess Ngọc Hoa – a princess of Đại Việt in the 17th century, a symbol of the cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan from hundreds of years ago. This image both evoked a meaningful historical story and spread a message about the enduring friendship between the two countries.

Shortly afterwards, Miss Thanh Thuy participated in welcoming Princess Tsuguko of Japan along with Vietnamese leaders and delegates at the Vietnam Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Spanning 300 square meters, the Vietnam Pavilion recreates a cultural space rich in identity, while affirming the country's potential and spirit of integration at the world's largest international event.

As the reigning Miss International, Thanh Thủy's presence at Expo 2025 Osaka contributes to enhancing and beautifying Vietnam's image in the eyes of the world.

Miss Thanh Thuy shared her thoughts on this meaningful trip: “I am very honored to participate in an international event like Expo 2025 Osaka. This is not only a place to admire advanced technologies, but also an opportunity for cultures to interact and together build a more sustainable future. Especially, when I wore the traditional Ao Dai, I felt incredibly proud to introduce to international friends a Vietnam rich in identity, beautiful, and integrated.”

In the coming period, Miss Thanh Thuy will continue her international journey in many countries, before concluding her brilliant term as the first Miss International from Vietnam.

Here are some images from the fashion show, parade of traditional costumes, and artistic performances that are distinctly Vietnamese:
