The Hoi An City Front has received the excellent emulation flag for many consecutive years.

With a spirit of solidarity and high determination, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoi An city has actively innovated the content and methods of its activities, closely adhering to the local political tasks, and effectively implementing the Action Program for the 2019-2024 term, achieving many outstanding and significant achievements in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hoi An city.

Participation in Party building and government building was a highlight of the past term. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city identified this as a key, ongoing task, focusing on in-depth implementation and achieving many important results; proactively selecting relevant content and issues of public concern to carry out social supervision and criticism.

The City Front organized 24 monitoring sessions and 9 social critique conferences. Through these activities, the role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members, association members, and the people has been increasingly effectively promoted.

Regularly innovate methods of mobilizing support for the poor and those in difficult circumstances; maintain the effectiveness of the "Joining Hands to Help Households Achieve Sustainable Poverty Alleviation" model; coordinate and unify actions with member organizations, clearly defining content, responsibilities, and specific targets to help poor households stabilize their lives and rise out of poverty. Maintain the organization of the "Warm Spring - Loving Tet" program, "Zero-Cost Markets," etc., which have a wide reach and create a "bridge" for businesses, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to directly help the poor in the city.

The city's Fatherland Front proactively innovates methods of mobilizing the people through the effective implementation and replication of self-governance models suitable to the specific conditions of the locality; mobilizing the people to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas with the motto "using the people's strength to care for the people," linked with the movement to build a cultured lifestyle, cultivate the virtues of the people of Hoi An ("humane and kind"), and other patriotic emulation movements... creating a strong ripple effect in the community of residential areas. The goal is for Hoi An city to be recognized as having completed the task of building new rural areas by 2025.

In addition to its regular duties, during the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoi An city effectively carried out an unprecedented and crucial task: the work of disseminating information and mobilizing all sectors of the population to contribute their efforts and resources, working together to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. The mobilization, management, and use of Covid-19 support funds were strictly implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoi An city; demonstrating the strength of national unity, the spirit of mutual assistance, and the traditions and ethics of the Vietnamese people.

As a result, for five consecutive years (2019 - 2024), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoi An city was assessed by the province as having excellently completed its tasks; in 2023, it led the emulation cluster of the Mekong Delta region, and for many consecutive years, it was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
