Participating in Miss Charm 2024, MC Quynh Nga said she didn't receive any special treatment; on the contrary, she faced considerable pressure. The beauty queen is ready to accept both praise and criticism, both positive and negative, in order to improve herself.
I received no special treatment when competing in Miss Charm.
- How are you mentally preparing for the Miss Charm 2024 final?
I'm excited for the upcoming final night – the decisive moment that will bring this meaningful journey to a close. The best preparation needs to be honed beforehand, and I believe I'm ready.
Currently, I'm focusing on maintaining my health, keeping my spirits high, and reviewing the skills I've honed. I want to present a confident, radiant image on stage and fully showcase the values of the modern Vietnamese woman.

- What makes Quynh Nga confident that she stands out among more than 30 beautiful girls from all over the world ?
Each girl who comes to Miss Charm possesses a unique beauty stemming from her country, people, and culture. For a Vietnamese girl like me, the biggest difference comes from my intellectual background, experience working in the media field, and understanding of my homeland.
Thanks to my foreign language skills and time spent studying abroad, I had the opportunity to learn from many different countries, which helped me become more open-minded, appreciate the beauty of diversity, and integrate more easily. This has made me more confident in communicating, interacting, and expressing myself in a multicultural environment.
Furthermore, I want to bring to Miss Charm the story of the modern Vietnamese woman: dynamic, intelligent, and compassionate.
- What are Quỳnh Nga's goals for the final night? If she's lucky enough to win or make it to the top, what will she do?
My biggest goal is to give my best performance on stage. If I'm lucky enough to win or make it to the top, I will use the opportunity to carry out a charitable project, contributing to community building and promoting the image of Vietnam to the world.
I hope my story will inspire young people to continue pursuing their passions. Believe that when you truly desire something, you will get a second chance.

- Quynh Nga joined the Miss Charm competition later than other contestants. Regarding the suspicion of receiving preferential treatment from the organizers throughout the competition, what is your response?
I understand people's concerns about whether I, as a Vietnamese girl, have an advantage participating in Miss Charm because I'm the host country's contestant. However, if you look at the results of last year's Miss Charm, you'll see that the judges and organizers were completely fair. Therefore, I'm confident that all opportunities are given equally to all contestants.
I also faced considerable difficulties due to health issues and an unsuitable schedule. Because I had to rush to complete my final exams, I had to fly out and miss some competition activities. Therefore, I had to redouble my efforts to prove that if I was placed in a high position, it was a fair decision by the competition.
- During the semi-final night, Quynh Nga had an accident and fell during the bikini competition. Many people said that because she wasn't well-prepared, her performance wasn't perfect. What do you say about that?
Falling during the semi-final was unfortunate. Despite thorough preparation, unexpected incidents can still happen. What's important is that I got back up with an optimistic attitude, positive energy, and continued the competition.
I've encountered many setbacks in life and overcome them, learning valuable lessons. What needs to happen will happen, and I use them as a way to improve myself.
Strive to prove yourself, and be ready to accept both praise and criticism.

- What put pressure on you when participating in the competition?
My biggest challenge is to present a complete and polished image of Vietnamese women on the international stage. The expectations of my family, friends, and audience are a great motivation, but also a source of pressure. However, I am confident that I will turn this pressure into motivation to try harder in the final stages.
- How do you deal with negative or opposing opinions from netizens?
I always listen to and welcome all feedback with an objective perspective and a positive attitude. Objectivity prevents me from being subjective, thinking that I've done a good job and therefore everyone is being too critical.
Negative opinions, if you can peel back the thorny layers, will help reveal the reality beneath. Sometimes, being overly critical and scrutinizing every detail helps me realize things I'd never seen before.
Positivity is something I've always brought to the competition since the first day. No matter what, I'm ready to enter the competition confidently and shine my brightest.

- Having previously hosted numerous VTV programs and possessing a strong educational and social background, Quỳnh Nga's decision to participate in a beauty pageant at the age of 29 seems rather risky?
I don't think it's risky. Every competition or game needs an element of surprise, difficulty, and risk. Otherwise, the results won't be something to be proud of.
I believe age is not a barrier to achieving our desires, whether in a competition or anything else in life.
- How have your family and friends shared and supported you these past few days?
My family and friends have always been a great source of encouragement for me. My mother always reminds me to take care of my health so that I can shine and prove myself to be a modern, strong-willed Vietnamese woman.
In addition, some friends flew from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City to support me from the semi-finals to the finals. That support will always be with me during those crucial moments on stage.

- How does Quynh Nga plan to move forward after the competition ends?
I will continue to pursue my passion in the field of media and hosting/editing, but from a fresh perspective. I want to apply the knowledge gained from my Master's program to elevate the field of media and contribute to building a better image of Vietnam in the eyes of the international community.
As a young person in the media field, I aspire to use my influence, experience, and knowledge to contribute to the common good of society, while also becoming a source of inspiration for many young women to dare to pursue their dreams.
