When will the heat last in the North?

On July 1, the heat wave continued in the North but the area of ​​influence narrowed, only concentrated in the midlands, deltas and Hoa Binh region. The highest temperature is commonly 35-37 degrees, the lowest humidity is 55-60%.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said the above situation will last until July 2, with the heat intensity gradually decreasing.

From the night of July 2, the North entered a period of widespread thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain concentrated in the midlands and mountainous areas. Thunderstorms brought an end to the heat, but were accompanied by dangerous phenomena such as tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

The above rain in the North is likely to last until July 4, after which the region will continue to experience a series of days of scattered showers and thunderstorms until July 10.

Meanwhile, the Central region will be hot and extremely hot in the coming days with the highest temperature of 35-38 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius. The time of recording high temperatures during the day lasts from 10am to 5pm.

- Hanoi: Thunderstorms at night in some places, hot and extremely hot during the day. Lowest temperature 28-30 degrees Celsius, highest 35-37 degrees Celsius.

- Northwest: Thunderstorms in some places at night, scattered thunderstorms in the Northwest, locally heavy rain. Sunny days, especially hot in Hoa Binh. Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius; highest 31-34 degrees Celsius, especially in Hoa Binh 35-37 degrees Celsius.

- Northeast: Showers and thunderstorms at night in some places, sunny during the day, hot in the midlands and plains, some places are extremely hot. Lowest temperature 27-30 degrees Celsius; highest 34-37 degrees Celsius.

- From Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue: Showers and thunderstorms at night in some places, hot and extremely hot during the day. Lowest temperature 27-30 degrees Celsius; highest 35-38 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius.

- From Da Nang to Binh Thuan: Showers and thunderstorms at night in some places, hot and extremely hot during the day. Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius; highest 35-38 degrees Celsius, in the north some places above 38 degrees Celsius.

- Central Highlands: Showers and thunderstorms in some places at night, sunny during the day. Lowest temperature 21-24 degrees Celsius; highest 30-33 degrees Celsius.
