In 2006, the family of Ms. H'Diet Kpơr in Ea Mtá hamlet (Dray Bhăng commune) was classified as a poor household. Thanks to the preferential loan program of the Social Policy Bank, and with the support of local associations and organizations, her family was able to access a loan of 50 million VND. With this capital, she boldly invested in planting coffee on her family's existing land and building pig pens.

Through hard work and efficient production organization, the coffee-growing and livestock-raising model of Mrs. H'Diet Kpơr's family has brought stable income year after year. In just 3 years, H'Diet's family has risen out of poverty, paid off their bank debts, and accumulated capital.

In 2023, Ms. H'Diet's family continued to receive support from the Social Policy Bank, borrowing 100 million VND from the employment creation loan program. She and her husband then expanded their production. Currently, the family owns 2 hectares of coffee. This year's harvest is expected to yield approximately 2 tons of coffee beans, generating a profit of around 200 million VND. In addition, the family sells 2-3 batches of pigs annually, earning nearly 100 million VND more, creating a stable source of income for the household.

In Ea Bhok hamlet (Dray Bhang commune), the family of Mr. Y Thih Ksor received a 50 million VND loan from the Social Policy Bank under the preferential loan program for poor households in 2021. Thanks to this, he invested in cultivating 5 acres of coffee and intercropping with pepper. Through hard work and the bold application of scientific and technical methods, the plantation thrived, yielding stable productivity and helping the family gradually overcome the most difficult periods.

In early 2025, his family received further support in the form of a 40 million VND loan to expand production. “Coffee is in harvest season, and the projected yield is better than in previous years. I hope to cover the medical expenses for my wife and children who suffer from thalassemia and gradually rise out of poverty,” Y Thih shared.

According to the People's Committee of Dray Bhang commune, the process of reviewing and confirming eligibility for policy-based credit loans in Dray Bhang commune has been implemented seriously. The People's Committee has assigned leaders from relevant departments and agencies to promptly verify eligible individuals, providing a basis for the Social Policy Bank to disburse loans, thus ensuring a continuous flow of funds. Transparent and timely access to capital not only helps people stabilize their livelihoods but also motivates them to overcome poverty, contributing to improved living standards and promoting sustainable local economic development.
