The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has just reported to the Ministry of Health Inspectorate about a Taiwanese woman who went to a cosmetic hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for cosmetic surgery and died.
On April 18, the Inspectorate of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that it had recently received information from the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Nai Province Police about patient LSB (45 years old), Taiwanese, who was taken to the emergency room at Thong Nhat General Hospital, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai Province, and died.
Ms. B. had cosmetic surgery at Korean Star Cosmetic Surgery Hospital, address 781/C9 Le Hong Phong, Ward 12, District 10 (HCMC).
The Health Department Inspectorate coordinated with the Internal Political Security Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police and the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Nai Province Police to go to the above cosmetic hospital to verify the content of the incident.
The initial investigation agency determined that on April 1, Ms. B. went to Korean Star Cosmetic Hospital for a check-up. On April 2, Ms. B. was hospitalized and had cosmetic surgery. On April 3, she was discharged from the hospital and returned home to Dong Nai.
At noon on April 7, Ms. B. had difficulty breathing and could not speak, but was still conscious. Her family took her to the emergency room at Thong Nhat General Hospital in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province. She passed away on April 9.
On April 12, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health reported to the Ministry of Health and the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management about Ms. B's case.
Ms. B's medical record is being handled by the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Nai Province Police.
At the same time, the Department of Health is coordinating with Ho Chi Minh City Police and the Investigation Police Agency, Dong Nai Provincial Police to clarify the contents related to the treatment of Ms. B..
