A foreign woman died after undergoing cosmetic surgery in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has just reported to the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health about a Taiwanese woman who underwent cosmetic surgery at a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City and subsequently died.

On April 18th, the Inspectorate of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health announced that it had recently received information from the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Dong Nai Provincial Police regarding patient LSB (45 years old), a Taiwanese national, who was admitted to Thong Nhat General Hospital in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai province, and subsequently died.

Ms. B underwent cosmetic surgery at Korean Star Cosmetic Surgery Hospital, located at 781/C9 Le Hong Phong Street, Ward 12, District 10 (Ho Chi Minh City).

Inspectors from the Department of Health, in coordination with the Internal Political Security Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Police and the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Dong Nai Provincial Police, went to the cosmetic surgery hospital to verify the details of the incident.

Initial investigations indicate that on April 1st, Ms. B. visited Korean Star Cosmetic Hospital for a check-up. On April 2nd, she was admitted to the hospital and underwent cosmetic surgery. On April 3rd, she was discharged and returned home to Dong Nai.

By noon on April 7th, Mrs. B. experienced difficulty breathing and was unable to speak, but remained conscious. Her family took her to Thong Nhat General Hospital in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province for emergency treatment. She passed away on April 9th.

On April 12th, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health submitted a report to the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health and the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management regarding the case of Ms. B.

Ms. B.'s medical records are currently being handled by the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Dong Nai Provincial Police.

At the same time, the Department of Health is coordinating with the Ho Chi Minh City Police and the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Dong Nai Provincial Police to clarify matters related to the treatment of Ms. B.
