A Quang Ngai fishing boat used a modern detector to catch a giant mackerel, earning nearly 3 billion.

On September 15th, speaking with a reporter from Dan Viet newspaper, Mr. Le Anh Tuan, a fisherman from Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city ( Quang Binh province), said: "I am currently on a fishing boat from Quang Ngai with a capacity of 800 horsepower. After 7 days at sea, this fishing boat has caught a huge school of scad fish..."

According to Mr. Le Anh Tuan, the fishing vessel departed from Sa Ky port (Quang Ngai province) on September 8th. This vessel is equipped with an 8 billion VND super-explosive fish finder, which enabled it to detect a huge school of scad while fishing in the waters of Thua Thien Hue province.

After 7 days of fishing, this fishing vessel caught approximately 40 tons of scad. The vessel is currently heading ashore to sell the catch at prices ranging from 40,000 to 70,000 VND/kg, with an estimated revenue of nearly 3 billion VND.

Speaking with a reporter from Dan Viet newspaper, Mr. Dao Xuan Vinh – Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Bao Ninh commune (Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province), said: "Mr. Le Anh Tuan is a local YouTuber who regularly accompanies fishermen whenever their fishing boats go out to sea."

Mr. Tuan has captured many moments of fishermen striking it rich with huge schools of fish, as well as scenes of fishermen's lives at sea, thereby encouraging and motivating them to venture out to sea and continue their livelihoods."
