A Quang Ngai fishing boat used a modern detector to catch a giant mackerel, earning nearly 3 billion.

On September 15, speaking with a reporter from Dan Viet newspaper, Mr. Le Anh Tuan, a fisherman from Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city ( Quang Binh province), said: "I am on a Quang Ngai fishing boat with a capacity of 800CV. After 7 days at sea, this fishing boat caught a huge group of mackerel...".

According to Mr. Le Anh Tuan, the fishing boat departed from Sa Ky port (Quang Ngai province) on September 8. This boat has a super-photographic fish finder worth 8 billion VND, so when fishing in the waters of Thua Thien - Hue, it detected a school of giant mackerel.

After 7 days of fishing, this fishing boat caught about 40 tons of mackerel. The boat is currently moving ashore to sell at prices ranging from 40,000 - 70,000 VND/kg, with estimated revenue of nearly 3 billion VND.

Speaking to Dan Viet Newspaper, Mr. Dao Xuan Vinh - Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Bao Ninh Commune (Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province), said: "Mr. Le Anh Tuan is a local youtuber, who specializes in accompanying fishermen every time their fishing boats go out to sea.

Mr. Tuan has recorded many moments of fishermen catching big fish or the life of fishermen at sea, thereby encouraging and motivating fishermen to go out to sea.
