UEF students study in groups
According to the second assessment cycle, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) is the first university in Vietnam to apply the new QS Stars standard version 6.0 that the World University Ranking Organization has just issued in February 2024.
The new set of standards includes nine criteria: Teaching quality; student employment; facilities; good governance; diversity, equity and inclusion; academic development; strong programs; global engagement; environmental impact.
In addition to achieving QS certification, UEF has also just achieved the second cycle of educational institution quality accreditation in 2023 according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. At the same time, the school also achieved the quality accreditation of 16 university-level training programs.
A representative of the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City, said that with the new set of standards, QS Stars version 6.0, QS updates many standards related to the 17 development goals of the United Nations to support universities with international orientation, while preparing a workforce with knowledge and skills to solve challenges of the community and society.
