Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) education organization has just announced the results of the university rankings in 55 fields belonging to 5 field groups of 1,747 higher education institutions with about 21,000 training programs at universities.

In the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 (QS WUR by Subject 2025), Hanoi National University has a strong breakthrough with 2 groups of fields and 12 fields ranked (of which 10/12 fields are in the top 500).

Of the 12 subjects the university is ranked in the QS WUR by Subject 2025, 5/12 are ranked for the first time, 5/12 have increased their ranking position compared to the previous term and 1 subject is re-ranked.

In the QS WUR by Subject 2025 ranking, this university also had 2 subject groups re-ranked: Engineering and Technology (top 451-500) and Social Sciences and Management (top 501-500).

Among the fields ranked by QS, there are 4 fields/field groups in the top 400, 7 fields/field groups are ranked in the top 500.

The Accounting and Finance field of the University of Economics was ranked for the first time in the top 301-375 in the world. The citations per paper score of this field was 86.2. QS's ranking criteria emphasize the contribution and impact of the training quality of a training industry/field on society (through the assessment of scholars and employers), contributions to scientific research activities (through citation levels and H-index) and the ability to internationalize scientific research (through international research networks).
