According to the Ward Civil Defense Command, the rainfall measured from the night of October 25 to the morning of October 27 was generally 250-450mm, causing main roads such as Provincial Road 4 (Km3-Km9) to be flooded from 20cm to 1.5m; National Highway 49B (Km43-Km46) to be flooded 20-70cm; many inter-group and inter-hamlet roads were flooded from 0.5-1m deep, accounting for about 80% of the entire ward area.
To ensure the safety of people's lives and property, the Ward People's Committee mobilized more than 110 police officers, soldiers, military and militia shock force to be on duty 24/24, organizing the evacuation of 114 households with 191 people to a safe place. All schools in the area let students stay home following the direction of the Department of Education and Training.
Currently, Hoa Chau ward has stockpiled about 15 tons of rice, 15,000 packs of instant noodles, 10,000 bottles of drinking water and rescue equipment such as boats, life jackets, generators, ensuring timely response in emergency situations.

As of 9am this morning, no human casualties have been recorded, but about 40 hectares of vegetables have been flooded and completely damaged. Local authorities are continuing to inspect high-risk areas, preparing rescue plans, and absolutely not allowing people to be isolated while the flood situation continues to be complicated.
