Eighty-six households in the Hue University Project area are living in severely dilapidated housing.

Upon inspection, it was found that 86 households in the Hue University Project area are living in severely dilapidated, makeshift housing that does not ensure safety during the rainy and stormy season.

Based on this situation, the People's Committee of An Cuu Ward, along with relevant units, unanimously proposed to the People's Committee of Hue City to consider arranging temporary accommodation for households in need at the Huong So apartment complex (Nguyen Van Linh Street, Huong An Ward).

After the Hue University Project officially completes land clearance and resettlement, the 86 households will hand over their temporary housing and will not have any further claims for compensation, additional support, or legal rights related to temporary accommodation during the arrangement period.

The temporary housing arrangements are only for emergency purposes to ensure the safety of people's lives during the rainy and stormy season. The People's Committee of An Cuu Ward has also requested Hue University to promptly complete the cadastral survey map, serving the compensation and land clearance work, contributing to speeding up the project progress and ensuring the safety of people during the rainy and stormy season.

Ms. Hoang Thi Nhu Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Committee of An Cuu Ward, said that the proposal has been received by the City People's Committee and a meeting will be scheduled next week to finalize a plan.

The Hue University planning area at Truong Bia was approved by the Prime Minister in 1998, with a total area of ​​135 hectares, divided into two phases. In 2004, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province (now Hue city) approved the detailed planning of Hue University at Truong Bia, with a total area of ​​over 113 hectares. Currently, the Hue University Project is in the land clearance phase. The allocated capital for 2025 is 35 billion VND.
