This morning (September 14th), Mr. Huynh Thanh Hien, Chairman of the Tan Hung District People's Committee, said that a heavy thunderstorm had just occurred in the area, causing damage to people's property.

Accordingly, at around 5 PM yesterday (September 13th), a heavy thunderstorm accompanied by strong gusts of wind passed through Tan Hung town, Hung Dien B commune, and Hung Thanh commune, tearing off the roofs of 5 houses.
The heavy rain and thunderstorm also caused a LED streetlight pole to collapse on 30-4 Street (behind Tan Hung Town Secondary School), injuring Mr. Tran Van Binh (42 years old). He was taken to the district's medical center for emergency treatment and his condition is now stable.

According to the Chairman of the Tan Hung District People's Committee, immediately that night, local authorities and militia forces from communes and towns quickly arrived at the homes of residents whose roofs were blown off to encourage, support, and repair their houses to stabilize their lives.
