Hue City Civil Defense Command, in the past 6 hours in the areas of Long Quang, Nam Dong, Khe Tre, Loc An, Phu Loc, Thuong Nhat communes upstream of Ta Trach lake, there has been very heavy and especially heavy rain, with total rainfall from 200-300 mm.
It is forecasted that in the next 3 to 6 hours, the rain will spread to the entire Hue city, but the above areas will still have especially heavy rain.
The amount of water flowing into major rivers has increased the water level of the rivers. The water level at 1:00 p.m. on November 2 on some rivers is as follows: Huong River at Kim Long station: 2.26 m, 0.26 m above alarm level 2; Bo River at Phu Oc station: 3.86 m, 0.64 m below alarm level 3.

It is forecasted that this afternoon and tonight, the water level on the Huong River at Kim Long station will gradually increase to approximately level 3 (level 3 at Kim Long is 3.5 m).
The water level on the Bo River at Phu Oc station tends to gradually increase to approximately level 3 alarm (alarm 3 at Phu Oc is 4.5 m).
Water levels on Truoi River, O Lau River and other rivers are fluctuating at high levels, causing flooding, flash floods, landslides and mudslides.
The Hue City Civil Defense Command requested agencies, units and localities to promptly and proactively respond to ensure safety for people and property.
