Mr. Hoang Minh Dang, Head of the Culture Department of Na Hang District, shared that, first of all, regarding tangible cultural heritage, the district focuses on renovating and restoring historical sites and monuments, strictly preserving and protecting them in a harmonious manner. Na Hang District has 30 historical sites, archaeological sites, and scenic spots, including 4 sites that have been classified at the provincial level. In particular, the district has the Na Hang - Lam Binh National Special Scenic Area, which has been classified as a National Special Monument by the Prime Minister .

The Páo Dung singing club in Sơn Phú commune (Na Hang district) practices traditional melodies.
Regarding intangible cultural heritage, the district always prioritizes solutions for preservation and retention within the community. In recent years, the District People's Committee has coordinated research, collection, and inventory of cultural heritage, creating dossiers for typical cultural heritages of ethnic minorities in the district. The district has successfully restored many traditional festivals of ethnic groups such as the Long Tong Festival in Na Hang town; the Long Tong Festival in Da Vi and Yen Hoa communes of the Tay ethnic group; the rice pounding festival in Con Lon commune; the fishing festival in Nang Kha commune; and maintained the traditional brocade weaving craft and cultural spaces such as the ancient Tay village in the area.
Communes and towns have established clubs to preserve cultural identity within the community. Currently, the entire district has 12 commune and town-level performing arts groups, 145 amateur performing arts groups, 10 Then singing and Tinh lute clubs, and 3 Pao Dung singing clubs... These clubs regularly recruit new members to teach and preserve their ethnic cultural identity. Mr. Hoang Lien Son, Chairman of the Then singing club in Ban Nhung village, Nang Kha commune, said that the club has more than 50 members, including 12 members aged 9 to 15. Every year, he usually opens free classes to teach Then singing and Tinh lute playing to the people.
Over the years, the district has focused on preserving and promoting ethnic cultural identity in conjunction with tourism development. To date, the district has many community tourism destinations where visitors can experience the scenery, lifestyle, and cultural characteristics of the local ethnic groups. Typical examples include community tourism destinations in Na Kha village, Nang Kha commune; Ban Bung village, Thanh Tuong commune; and Khau Trang village, Hong Thai commune.
On average, the district welcomes over 200,000 visitors annually. In the future, the district will focus on developing tourism in a targeted and strategic manner, building distinctive products and services with a unique identity, while preserving local cultural heritage.
