In 2023, e-commerce export value will reach 86,000 billion VND

On October 9, in Hanoi , Amazon Global Selling Vietnam organized the 2024 cross-border e-commerce conference with the theme "Accelerate - Reach - Breakthrough to success".

The report at the conference said that in 2023, global retail e-commerce sales are estimated to reach 5,800 billion USD and are forecast to grow by 39% in the coming years, expected to exceed 8,000 billion USD by 2027. The excitement of global e-commerce opens up great opportunities for Vietnamese businesses looking for international trade opportunities.

In Vietnam, according to the latest report by Access Partnership, the value of Vietnam's business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce exports in 2023 will reach VND86,000 billion, of which small, medium and micro enterprises contribute 26%.

Mr. Gijae Seong, CEO of Amazon Global Selling Vietnam, said that over the past 5 years, thousands of Vietnamese businesses have expanded their global business operations with Amazon. Businesses not only sell products, but also focus on building their brands and strengthening their presence in the international arena.
