On December 11, 2024, the Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) in collaboration with TH Group and the Men's Forum for Gender Equality and Sustainable Development (VNMENNET) organized a talk show "Men taking the lead in promoting gender equality" with the participation of more than 200 TH Group employees in Nghe An, spreading the message of gender equality and calling for active participation from men in the "To Cam 2024" campaign.

Discussion: Men take the lead in promoting gender equality

The highlight of the event was a panel discussion with the theme "Men taking the lead in promoting gender equality." The panel discussion featured prominent speakers in the field of gender equality: Mr. Dang Hoa Nam - Director of the Department of Children (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs), journalist Truong Anh Ngoc, and representatives of TH Group's leadership, including Ms. Luu Thi Thu Hien - Deputy General Director of TH Dairy Food Joint Stock Company, and Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Director of TH Milk Factory. The roundtable discussion was moderated by Ms. Tran Hong Diep - Director of the Fund for Vietnamese Stature.

Talk show "Men taking action to promote gender equality", one of the communication activities to promote gender equality that VSF and TH will carry out in 2024

Journalist Truong Anh Ngoc emphasized the role of both genders in eliminating prejudice and shared: "Gender equality is not something women do for themselves, or something men do to be humble. It is a shared journey, where both sides understand and find solutions to the invisible pressures created by gender prejudice."

At the seminar, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Director of TH Milk Factory shared: "Previously, the proportion of male workers at TH Milk Factory was superior due to the nature of technical work. However, up to now, women have actively participated in operations, with the female ratio reaching 30%."

Not only that, statistics from the entire group show that 61% of TH's employees are female. This reflects a strong shift in the company's human resource development policy and working environment. According to Ms. Luu Thi Thu Hien: "We not only balance and ensure comprehensive development rights for women, but also create support policies so that all individuals at TH are treated equally."

Innovation for a fair and happy society

Mr. Nguyen Hai Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of TH Milk Joint Stock Company said: "The To Cam campaign is very meaningful in the context of Vietnamese society still having many gender stereotypes. The discussion not only helped me broaden my awareness but also encouraged me to spread the message of gender equality to my family and community."

Mr. Dang Hoa Nam, Director of the Department of Youth, Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs also noted: "I appreciate the efforts of TH Group in promoting gender equality for both employees and management team. This is an important foundation for sustainable development. We needto educate about gender and the rights of women and children right from the school environment to build a generation of responsible global citizens."

Ms. Tran Hong Diep emphasized: "The Fund for Vietnamese Stature has persistently worked with TH Group and Bac A Bank to organize the To Cam campaign over the past three years. We hope to affirm that gender equality not only benefits women but also brings sustainable development to the whole society."

General Director of TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company, Mr. Tal Cohen, shared: "TH has participated in the To Cam campaign since 2022 with many meaningful activities. We focus on raising awareness, promoting practical actions, and creating a friendly and equal working environment. To achieve this, men play a very important role. The active participation of men is not only to support women but also to create common values ​​for society."

Towards a Fair Future

In addition, the discussion atmosphere became more exciting when the participants not only listened but also actively interacted, asked questions, and shared real stories about gender inequality. In addition, interactive games helped everyone consolidate their knowledge in a lively and effective way. The highlight of the discussion was the Commitment Button ceremony of male representatives. With a strong commitment, they expressed their determination to join hands to eliminate all forms of gender violence, contributing to building an equal society.

The To Cam Cung TH 2024 campaign continues to affirm TH Group's commitment to spreading the message of gender equality. According to Mr. Tal Cohen: "Gender equality is the foundation of a healthy society. Recognizing that everyone is equal and has the same rights, regardless of gender or belief, is the key to a sustainable future."

The discussion did not stop at sharing messages but also created strong motivation for action. With the steadfast efforts of leaders and staff, TH Group is contributing to building a fair society, where everyone has the opportunity to develop and live up to their aspirations.

TH Group's employees, consumers and the community respond to the campaign "Powder oranges with TH 2024"

TH Group, For Vietnamese Stature Fund and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank have coordinated to implement the campaign "TO ORANGE WITH TH 2024 - Solidarity in action to end violence against women and girls" with many meaningful activities such as direct and online communication, seminars, internal competitions, orange corner decoration, etc. Especially fundraising activities to support livelihoods for women who are victims of violence and in difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, from November 20 to December 20, 2024, for each orange product purchased by customers at 25 TH true mart stores (15 TH true mart stores in Hanoi and 10 TH true mart stores in Ho Chi Minh City), the For Vietnamese Stature Fund will contribute 630 VND to the fund to support livelihood improvement for women who have suffered violence and are in difficult circumstances.
