On the morning of November 6, at the People's Police College I, the Ministry of Public Security organized an international scientific conference "Training Special Police in Vietnam. Current situation, international experience and solutions".
Comrades: Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hoai Nam, Principal of People's Police College I; Major General, Dr. Dao Ngoc Dinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Science , Strategy and History of the Public Security co-chaired the Workshop.

The international scientific conference "Training Special Police in Vietnam. Current situation, international experience and solutions" is an in-depth scientific forum for leaders, commanders at all levels and scientists to discuss theoretical and practical issues related to the work of building, training and coaching the Special Police force; at the same time, share experiences in training Special Police of some countries in the world ; identify difficulties and obstacles, thereby proposing solutions to contribute to improving the effectiveness of training Special Police in Vietnam in the coming time. Thereby, effectively implementing the work of building the Mobile Police force (including Special Police) according to the Project "Modernizing the Mobile Police Force to 2025, vision to 2030" of the Government and the Plan dated July 9, 2021 of the Ministry of Public Security; building a regular, elite and modern Special Police force.
At the Workshop, delegates and scientists focused on assessing and clarifying the Party's leadership role in the work of building the Public Security force in general, the Mobile Police force and the Special Police in particular, to meet the requirements and tasks of ensuring security and order in the new situation, on a number of contents: Party building; political and ideological building; organization and apparatus; staff; ensuring facilities, techniques, equipment; international coordination and cooperation... At the same time, opinions pointed out the limitations, difficulties and obstacles in training Special Police in the past time. On that basis, viewpoints, goals, tasks and solutions were put forward to improve the quality of training and coaching of Special Police forces, to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation. Thereby, contributing to building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern Special Police force in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 12 of the Politburo.

In his concluding remarks at the Workshop, Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hoai Nam, Principal of the People's Police College I, Head of the Workshop Organizing Committee, affirmed that the explanations, analyses as well as recommendations and proposals at the Workshop have great theoretical and practical value. This is one of the important scientific arguments for the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to direct functional units and People's Police schools to improve the effectiveness of training and coaching the Special Police force in the new situation.
To maximize the scientific research results of the Workshop, Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hoai Nam requested the Workshop Organizing Committee to absorb the opinions, presentations and summarize the Workshop, synthesize the Workshop results and report to the Minister of Public Security and the Theoretical Council of the Ministry of Public Security to serve the research work, supplement arguments to comprehensively lead and direct the work of building the Special Police force to meet the requirements of work in the new situation.
The police of units and localities, based on the results of the Workshop, shall coordinate with training facilities in the People's Public Security to study the necessary scientific arguments and practical experiences of other units and localities to continue to effectively carry out the training and coaching of the Special Police force according to the assigned functions and tasks.
The Mobile Police Command, the academies and schools of the People's Public Security, as training establishments and direct training centers for the Special Police, need to further promote the achieved results, continue to research and clarify the theoretical "gaps" and practical "bottlenecks", thereby researching, promoting and innovating the content, forms and methods of training and coaching in a synchronous and in-depth direction, effectively serving the training and coaching of the Special Police, contributing to building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.../.
