On November 3, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Da Nang City sent a document to the People's Committee of Da Nang City regarding the arrangement of police headquarters in wards in the city.
Previously, on October 28, the People's Committee of Da Nang City agreed in principle to arrange houses and land for the City Police to manage and use as working headquarters for Hai Chau Ward Police and Cam Le Ward Police.

Accordingly, Hai Chau Ward Police is proposed to use facility No. 1 Pasteur (former headquarters of the Da Nang City Women's Union), while Cam Le Ward Police is expected to be located at No. 92 Nguyen Nhan (former headquarters of public service units under the People's Committee of Cam Le Ward).
The house and land at No. 1 Pasteur, Hai Chau Ward, has a construction area of over 2,100 m². This is an ancient French architectural work, once the residence of the Director of the Central Customs and Public Administration Department, and is identified by the People's Committee of Da Nang City as a valuable architectural work of the city.
The Standing Committee of the Da Nang City People's Council said that through gathering voters' and public opinions, many suggested carefully considering the use of this housing and land facility, in order to preserve the rare remaining architectural and artistic values of the city.
Therefore, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Da Nang City requested the People's Committee of Da Nang City to direct relevant departments and branches to clarify the suitability of the function, scale, and architecture of the house and land at No. 1 Pasteur when arranging it as the office of Hai Chau Ward Police to ensure regulations and responsibilities in the management and use of valuable architectural works.
At the same time, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Da Nang City also recommended that the city should prioritize considering the arrangement of this house and land to serve the cultural sector.
Along with that, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Da Nang City also requested the People's Committee of Da Nang City to report on the review and handover of land plots managed by the City Police that are no longer in use after the arrangement to the city to serve local socio -economic development as requested by the People's Council of the City.
