(Dan Tri) - Young star Quang Duong performed a difficult technique that left his opponent unable to react in a pickleball final match in Quang Ninh on the afternoon of September 21.

In the final of the Open men's doubles, the pair Quang Duong - Casey Diamond (American players) easily defeated Phuc Huynh - Tama with a score of 2-0 (11-6; 11-6). The most notable situation was probably the ball at the beginning of the second set when the score was still 0-0.

Quang Duong's classy move surprised Phuc Huynh

Casey Diamond was the one who served, after successfully returning the ball 3 times, both sides pushed up, approaching the kitchen area to gain the advantage. All 4 players entered the battle of wits with precise dinks.

After 23 balls, taking advantage of the opponent's weakness, Quang Duong suddenly performed an Erne (jumping over the kitchen area to hit the ball) that surprised the pair Phuc Huynh - Tama. The classy move received countless compliments and applause from the audience present on the field.

In pickleball, an Erne is a shot played when a player leaves the court (steps out of bounds) and moves up to the net to hit the ball just outside the kitchen area, but without touching the kitchen line or standing in the kitchen. This allows the player to hit a volley extremely close to the net without breaking the rules.

This is an extremely difficult technique, requiring the performer to have vision, strategy and grasp the opponent's psychology. Erne shots rarely appear on professional courts because of the difficulty and low chance of success. Quang Duong's sharp scoring has proven his talent and courage regardless of the opponent.
