ACB Bank supports business households to convert from lump-sum tax to declaration

After the Tax Department implemented the 60-day peak period of converting from lump-sum tax to declaration (November 1-December 31), it was noted in many localities that the Tax Department and commercial banks, includingACB , have begun to increase their presence at the grassroots level to support business households in implementing the new regulations.

Business household psychology: From concern to proactive learning

According to feedback at support points in Ban Co ward, Tan Kieng ward and many other newly deployed areas, most business households initially expressed caution about the request to convert to the declaration model. The main concerns revolved around three issues: digitalization, the risk of errors in declaration and the risk of additional costs.

However, after receiving direct guidance from tax officers and ACB at the point of sale, the business households' mentality has clearly changed.

Ms. M.Tan, a stall owner at Tan Kieng market, said: “At first, I was afraid that I didn’t know how to issue electronic invoices. But when I was instructed to try it on my phone, I found the process quite clear.”

On Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ms. H.Ly, a fashion store owner, shared: “The hardest part is separating the sales proceeds from the stores. When I was supported to open a separate business account and shown how to reconcile each day, I found the declaration much easier to understand.”

Initial observations show that having a direct support point plays an important role in reducing the fear of change among business households, which are the group most affected by this transition.

ACB: Policy of staying close to the locality and providing timely support

ACB's team of specialists has been deployed at many mobile support points with local Tax authorities, focusing on resolving technical problems or concerns that businesses often encounter.

Specifically, ACB has set up separate business accounts to limit errors when summarizing revenue. The bank supports the installation and instructions for using sales software integrated with electronic invoices. Specialists support users in activating digital signatures, checking sales data, declarations, and payments to avoid errors. ACB provides preferential packages such as electronic invoices and digital signatures to reduce initial costs for business households.

ACB Bank's participation in providing technical support helps the conversion process go more smoothly, especially for business households that are not familiar with digital operations.

Previously, on November 3, ACB was also one of the first banks to sign a cooperation agreement with Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department to support business households in converting according to Decision 3389.

Accordingly, the bank cooperated with 29 tax branches under the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department to deploy a series of practical incentive programs with two main package groups, aiming to reduce costs, increase operational efficiency and encourage business households to convert to a transparent and modern management model.

ACB launches a "0 VND" incentive package for newly registered business households, applicable to the first 1,000 customers: Free 2,000 electronic invoices, directly integrated with the electronic tax management portal; free 6 months of digital signature use, helping business households pay taxes online easily; free online money transfer, with 0 VND transaction notification speakers; free sales software from ACB's partners.

In addition, ACB offers two extended incentive packages, flexible according to operational needs. Of which, the 499,000 VND package includes 24 months of free use of sales software, 4,000 electronic invoices and 12 months of digital signature use. The 790,000 VND package has the benefit of free lifetime use of sales software, along with extended incentives for electronic invoices and digital signatures.

ACB representative shared that the bank clearly recognized the great pressure that business households are facing when the requirements for digital transformation and financial transparency are being promoted. Therefore, ACB offers a series of practical incentives to help business households not only comply with regulations but also optimize operations and expand their business.

The transition from lump-sum tax to declaration is an important step to increase transparency in the household business sector, a group that plays a large role but is still fragmented in its operations. However, the effectiveness of the policy depends largely on the adaptability of household businesses and the level of support on the ground.

The participation of banks in practical operations from cash flow separation to sales data standardization contributes to reducing errors in declaration, while helping business households access a more professional management model.
