DNO - On the evening of August 16, the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) Da Nang Branch held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 5; Major General Cao Phi Hung, Deputy Commander of Military Region 5 attended the ceremony. On the city side, there was Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of MB Da Nang, and hoped that in the coming time, MB Da Nang will continue to grow, showing itself as a leading flag in business activities, actively contributing to the city's sustainable development.
Permanent Vice President Ho Ky Minh also said that after 20 years of establishment, MB Da Nang has had very encouraging development, demonstrated through a number of indicators such as: up to now, MB Da Nang is a level 1 branch, a typical branch of the Central Highlands region, including 4 transaction offices with more than 100 employees.
All transaction points are fully equipped with necessary machinery and means to ensure spaciousness, convenience and safety for customers to transact. MB Da Nang is one of the credit institutions that plays a pioneering role, actively contributing to the socio -economic development of Da Nang city.
MB Da Nang has also provided credit capital, high-quality banking and financial products and services, meeting the diverse needs of people and businesses in the process of investing, doing business and living in the city, as well as contributing to improving the business environment, accompanying and supporting business development.
The city leaders highly appreciate MB Da Nang's responsibility to the community in joining hands with the city government to carry out social security work, health care, support for the poor, people with revolutionary contributions, the program of building charity houses and many other volunteer activities.
It is known that in 2023, MB Da Nang mobilized capital of VND 3,579 billion; total assets increased to over VND 3,964 billion; total outstanding loans of all branches reached VND 3,817 billion; revenue reached VND 274 billion, an increase of 14.8% compared to 2022. Together with the entire system, MB Da Nang has implemented comprehensive digital transformation, creating breakthrough growth in digital banking business.

To date, the number of customers of the Branch using the MBBank App has reached more than 104,600 users. The total scale of individual customers in the area has reached over 513,000 customers, accounting for 42% of Da Nang's population. The number of corporate customers continues to increase steadily over the years.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the City People's Committee awarded the Flag recognizing 20 years of achievements of MB Da Nang.
