Journalism major has the highest floor score at Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities

TPO - On the afternoon of July 23, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) - VNU-HCM announced the threshold to ensure the initial quality (floor score) for admission to the school in 2025.

Accordingly, the floor score applies to specific methods:

- Admission is based on the results of the capacity assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025 (method 2 - code 401) ranging from 620 - 700 points.

- Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam (method 3 - code 100) and other methods using high school academic results of 18 - 20 points.

- The score applies to all admission combinations (without coefficients), including regional and subject priority points (if any).

In both methods, the journalism industry has the highest minimum score of 20 points based on high school graduation exam scores and 700 points based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University.
