In implementation of Prime Minister's Directive No. 234/CĐ-TTg dated November 30, 2025, on launching and implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign" to rapidly build and repair houses for households whose homes were damaged by natural disasters in the Central provinces, VNR organized the free transportation of 1 million bricks from the North to the Central provinces, contributing to accelerating the implementation of the Campaign and ensuring the completion of the objectives within the set timeframe.

On December 14, 2025, the railway industry transported 400,000 bricks from Bim Son station (Thanh Hoa province) to Hoa Da station (Tuy An Nam commune, Dak Lak province). The remaining bricks, out of a total of 1 million, will be transported on subsequent trains.
Train operations were carried out with urgency, safety, smoothness, and timeliness. Railway units coordinated closely with local receiving units to ensure that all materials were delivered to the right place at the right time, effectively serving the construction and repair of houses for the people.
Previously, right from the early days of the storms and floods, VNR proactively implemented many humanitarian support activities. From October 10, 2025 to the present, the railway has organized the free transportation of more than 31,000 packages (equivalent to 500 tons) including food, emergency relief supplies, clothing, books, etc., sent by charitable organizations and localities to people in Central Vietnam.
Many trains ran through the night, even though railway infrastructure was affected by the natural disaster and had to operate at reduced speeds in some areas. However, railway units still made their utmost efforts to ensure that relief supplies were delivered to the people in a timely manner.
In the coming period, VNR will continue to work alongside ministries, sectors, and localities in supporting the recovery from natural disasters and rebuilding the lives of people in affected areas, with the highest sense of responsibility, contributing to the nationwide effort to support Central Vietnam and help people's lives return to normal as soon as possible.
